
BOTULINIC TOXIN
For the attenuation of expression wrinkles that are caused by the use of mimic muscles of the forehead and eyes.
WHAT IS IT?
Therapy exploits the ability of the botulinum toxin to act on the muscles by temporarily blocking the transmission of the nerve impulse: this leads to a reduction of muscle contraction and, therefore, of the wrinkles caused by it.
WHAT IS ADAPTED TO?
The substance can be used from 18 to 65 years of age by both men and women, and its rare side effects be temporary headache, eyelidptosis, rarely nausea.
AFTER HOW DO YOU SEE THE FIRST RESULTS?
The results are not immediate but it takes four to five days for the toxin to begin to develop its action (acts within 15 days) which lasts six to eight months to have an optimal and lasting result, it is recommended to repeat the treatment every four months for the first two cycles.
