CARBOXYTHERAPY

Carboxytherapy is used in aesthetic medicine mainly for the treatment of cellulite, localized adiposity, stretch marks and skin laxity.

WHAT IS IT?

Carboxytherapy is a therapy used in medicine for the treatment of various diseases through the subcutaneous and intradermal administration of medical carbon dioxide in a gaseous state.

WHICH IS ITS PECULIARITY?

It has the peculiarity of promoting vasodilation and restoring the correct blood flow in the asphyxiated areas, helping the activity of fibroblasts and improving the process of cell regeneration. It has acquired over time an important role in various clinical areas such as: dermatology, phylebology, treatment of difficult wounds and PEFS (cellulite).

WHAT IS THE TREATMENT AND HOW DOES IT TAKE PLACE?

The treatment is carried out on an outpatient basis and without hospitalization by means of micro-injections in varying doses of carbon dioxide gas subcutaneously, usually at the root of the limbs or in areas where there is cellulite, using very fine needles.

A complete cycle of treatments varies between 12 and 15 sessions whose frequency in intended to be weekly: each session lasts on average 15/20 minutes and the return to normal activities is immediate.

By causing vasodilation and reactivation of the microcirculation, it improves blood flow, elasticity and skin metabolism, increasing tissue oxygenation.
